Privacy Policy — MeetingVault for Read AI

Effective date: July 24, 2026

The short version

MeetingVault runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your data. We have no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.

What the extension does with data

• Your Read AI meeting data (transcripts, summaries, action items) is fetched directly from Read AI's API (api.read.ai) using your existing Read AI login session, and written directly to files in your Downloads folder. It never passes through any server of ours.
• License keys: if you purchase the full version, your license key is sent to Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider) to activate and periodically re-validate it. The key and its activation state are stored in your browser's extension storage. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
• Nothing else. No browsing history, no analytics events, no cookies of ours, no personal information.

Permissions explained

• storage — remembers your license state locally.
• downloads — saves your exported files to your Downloads folder.
• activeTab — detects when you're on app.read.ai.
• Host access to read.ai domains — fetches your own meeting data from Read AI's API. This is the extension's single purpose.

Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Exported files live only on your computer. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
